Citroen's successful Berlingo mini van has grown up with a new model that offers more load space and a bigger, stronger petrol engine, but also an extended version with a loading capacity up to 4.7 cubic metres. The short version, at 24cm longer than the previous model, has about 10 per cent more load capacity than before. Both short and long versions of the sweet-driving French rouseabout share their wheelbase and floorpan with the C4 Picasso and are available with two 1.6-litre engines: 66kW/132Nm petrol, or 66kW/215Nm turbodiesel. Five-speed manual transmission, ABS, driver's airbag and cruise control are standard.
