Isuzu's D-Max utes step boldly into the fray to do battle with Ford Ranger, Toyota HiLux, Nissan Navara - and the near-identical Holden Colorado. With a 120kW 3.0-litre turbodiesel at its heart , and either 360Nm or 330Nm of torque depending on whether it's a five-speed manual or four-speed auto, it's a competitive workhorse covering two wheelbases, crew-cab ute, single or space cab-chassis and the choice of 4x2 or 4x4. Dual airbags are standard across the range, with ABS standard on all but base EX. Air-conditioning is standard, and only EX lacks power windows and remote central locking.
