Two decades on, and there's still no doubt the Discovery is a competent off-roader. The significantly updated Series 4 concentrates on improving on-road behaviour, gets more modern looks and higher equipment levels, bringing it closer to the Mercedes ML and BMW X5 urban wilderness models while maintaining its off-road credibility.
