Mazda#s latest generation #3# builds on the success of its predecessor with a lineup including Neo, Maxx, Max Sport and SP25 models. The base 2.0-litre four now produces 108kW/182Nm driving through a six-speed manual transmission or sequential-shifting five-speed auto. The new Mazda3 is more refined and roomier, and is available in five-door hatch and four-door sedan configuration. All models have stability control, ABS, dual front airbags, active front headrests, air-conditioning and trip computer. From Maxx onwards, front side and full-length curtain airbags are standard. The 2.5-litre SP25 offers 122kW/227Nm and offers the choice of manual or auto transmission.
