Ssangyong's Rexton first appeared here in 2003 as the Korean company's MPV entrant with part-time 4WD standard across the range. Today the Rexton is exclusively 2.7-litre five-cylinder turbodiesel powered, offering the choice of five-speed manual or sequential auto transmissions and coming with seating for seven passengers in Sports or Limited trim. In Sports form, the engine develops 121kW/340Nm. Standard gear in the Sports version of Ssangyong's top model includes dual front airbags, ABS, automatic climate control, 18-inch alloys, cruise control (auto only) and four-speaker CD audio.
