While the XT version sets the stage, the S-Edition hogs the spot-light with its WRX power-train and accompanying 24kW/27Nm power increase. That should get you to 100km/h in less than seven seconds. You can also claim, somewhat smugly, there's 'officially' no increase in fuel consumption. You will be paying a premium up front, although it does include the paddle-shift five-speed auto not available in the XT. Other differences are down to STI alloy wheel style, available colours, leather seats and different instrument/dash displays.
