VW is muddying the waters with its new line up. The Jetta is now a lot more Passat sized and no longer shares its platform with the Golf. Pricing has also been smartened up and engine options consist of two petrol and one diesel. Transmissions are a six-speed manual or, six or seven speed DSG auto. Packaging is the key, with easily enough room for five, plenty of inboard storage and a large boot. Safety is paramount with new technology designed to deploy airbags more appropriately.
